Here is a sequence from the film 'Hot Fuzz'. I have chosen twelve frames of the characters reaction of seeing the main character, Sargent Angel, alive.
If you notice that each Frame is a close up of the characters, to see the expression on their faces. You can also see that most of the characters in the frames are in centre and off centre, but some of them are a bit longer then others, to give a sense of anticipation to the audience, seeing who will start off the gun fight or shoot first.
